10 Things to know about Drymen Camping

1: We’re right on the West Highland Way and National Cycle Route 7, and before the start of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park’s Camping Management Zone. Best way to find us – type ‘Drymen Camping’ into Google / Apple Maps, or generate directions from What3Words: ///explained.landlady.choirs (note: following the post code takes you to our neighbours farm, not us!)

2: Camping starts from £14 per adult and can be booked in advance, or paid on arrival (subject to availability). Please use the Contact us page if looking to book for a group of six or more as there are certain groups we don’t accept.

3: Toilets, hot walk-in showers, charging points and wi-fi (guaranteed within the sheltered area) are all included in the price.

4: Most Baggage Transfer Companies drop off and deliver to our Campsite but you can also sign up for part or the rest of your journey at Drymen Camping – just ask at reception.

5: Prefer to stay in a pod? We have three different types: LandPod (sleeps 4), Green Pod (sleeps 2) and Kocoons (also sleep 2). Use the Book Now button to check availability and prices.

6: Pod add-ons: Sleeping bags £5 each, Towel Sets (Egyptian Cotton bath sheet and hand towel included) £5 each

7: Our Campsite is 2km from the centre of Village of Drymen where you can eat and enjoy a well deserved refreshment at the following establishments: The Clachan, The Drymen Inn, The Winnoch, The Buchanan Arms Hotel. Drymen also boasts a cafe, a deli and the local Spar.

8: Onsite at The Purple Pod Reception and Shop, you’ll find a selection of snack and sundrie items including TentMeals dinner and breakfast options, Noodle Pots, Soft Drinks, Crisps, Tent Repair Kits, Plasters  and Colemans C330 Performance Gas Canisters. We also have your morning coffee sorted using freshly ground Caffia Espresso Crema Beans straight from the bean to your cup. Espresso /americano /cappuccino /latte etc. plus tea, hot chocolate and decaf all available.

9: If you wish to cook onsite, please bring your own cooking equipment. The communal area provides a sheltered space to prepare and eat food. The Purple Pod Reception and Shop stocks Coleman’s C300 Performance Gas Canisters which you can also order when booking.

10: Lastly, everyone deserves a good nights sleep. Please remain mindful that you’ll likely to be sharing the campsite with many many other guests from all around the world and to respect the no noise policy after 10pm.
